The purpose of this thesis is to identify and analyze the data related to the outsourcing practices of the Information Technology sector in the United States, to the foreign countries. The information collected will assist me in answering the main thesis question: Is there any room for high tech jobs in the United States or is the IT outsourcing the way of the future?

PHOENIX, April 15 (UPI) -- Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano banned the outsourcing of state jobs after learning that 19,000 welfare and food-stamp calls a month connected to India or Mexico.

ID Theft Might Grow As Jobs Go Overseas

Identity theft may already be commonplace at foreign companies now doing the outsourced work. The Federal Trade Commission estimates that 3.2 million Americans are victimized every year. Nobody knows where all the thefts are occurring, which makes the crime even more frightening.
