Writers' GuidelinesWe are currently looking for freelance journalists (on volunteer basis) to submit original story ideas for OffshoringForum, a web site that covers outsourcing and offshoring news, as well as supports news-based forums.
Subject Matter
We are interested in analysis, interviews, news, and the occasional opinion piece. We welcome profiles of individuals or organizations that are either benefiting or suffering due to offshoring, as well as articles offering productive advice for coping with offshoring-driven economic changes.
We are most interested in articles that have the potential to create recognition for OffshoringForum from other news sources and will encourage our readers to return on a regular basis. If you have an idea for a department, column, or an ongoing series, we'd like to hear about it.
You should feel free to express a point of view in your submissions, whether it is your own or that of individuals or organizations you are reporting on.
Article Length and Format
We prefer article length anywhere between 300 and 1000 words in length. Longer articles may be submitted, but will be reviewed by our editor. Please send all articles as a Word or PDF attachment document.
Rights
We require non-exclusive electronic rights to the content, as well as exclusive rights in all media for 30 days after publication.
Credit
You will receive writing credit for all published works. Additionally, you may provide a headshot and a biographical paragraph, which will run, along with your works.
Contact Information
Please submit story ideas to admin@offshoringforum.com . We strive to respond to queries within two business days. Feel free to follow up if you haven't received a reply within three business days.
